Seeeeeeeewww, it's that time of year again. That time where I actually begin cosplay progress, only to have to put it aside in another week to study. And I yet I begin anyway. So this weekend, I am hoping to finish bloomers for Detour's Lolita day(s). I figured that shouldn't be too hard, and I can actually finish something early for once. >__> I've been getting cosplay supplies every time I come home, in order to utilize coupons. I think my goal this time will be to never actually pay full price for anything. xD
I'm still contemplating our "mystery year" which thankfully is far enough in the future yet, but I have a number of vague ideas....all of which I want to make at some point -- even if just for giggles </HerrMurrayism>. Like, Alyssa and I kind of decided we want to make full Victorian-era dresses for Halloween next year. I'm not sure yet if that warrants a (X__X) face or a (^o^) face. We'll see.....I tried to explain Time Travel day to her, and I think that's where it started...lol.
I've also decided to alter my Hogwarts-lolita design again, as I realized that I have no friggin clue how to go about making part of it. Curses.......ah well. I'll do that while watching the Project Runway finale this week!!! (Had to skip it last week.....due to New Moon sadly.)
And about New Moon -- we went to Twilight before it, so we suffered no line-waiting! Yaaaaaay! Of course, that meant that fewer people could see my Team Cliff shirt.

Oh well, maybe I'll just reuse it randomly, and then it will really be on crack. I love that cliff....and the tidal wave below it.....xD
Overall, the movie was better than Twilight. Not that that was a particularly difficult thing to achieve. It's really sad, because it could have been so good legitimately if it weren't adapted from that book. xD Gawd, the terrible-ness of the books just curses any vague potential these movies could have.....But yeah, it was mostly ANGST as usual.
I am happy to say though, that yet again, I liked the movie much more than the book! I think at least half the book was Bella whining about this/that/everything. I mean, like HUNDREDS of pages of it....X___x
Anyway, I'm going to make futile attempts at some homework before beginning the bloomers...and maybe tackle that last Halloween burrito in the freezer.

House: I'm gay...Wait that's not what you meant, but it does explain a lot. I have no girlfriend, I hang out with Wilson all the time, my obsession with tennis shoes.
